Previously a garage, this spacious kitchen diner was a very welcome addition to the house modernisation. Clean, modern units and under-floor heating brought the look right up-to-date while honouring the countryside location with rustic furniture and a bespoke wooden worktop on the central island.
Space was at a premium in this tiny cottage kitchen but we managed to increase work surface-area and storage by utilising some of the latest kitchen designs and very clever planning.
A total overhaul was required to transform a kitchen that hadn’t been touched since the 1930’s, into a functional and stylish family kitchen. We managed to reinstate the original servants bell box as a nod the history of the house.
